Jayne Thomson, retired and living alone in her childhood home in a small Michigan town, is comfortable in her little world of only friends, neighbors, and church. Though not understanding their existence, she takes pride in proving to her techie son, Ben, away at college, that she can use the surveillance cameras, alarms, computer, and concealed ham radio he\u2019s installed in her house. Ben Thompson craves excitement and the thrill of big city has escaped the small-town farm and, unbeknownst to his mom, lives life on the edge as undercover agent for Detroit\u2019s task force on drugs.
